2023 OFL Rotary car show- huge success!
This past 10/1/2023 Oakland finally beat the rain and celebrated its 38th annual Oakland Classic Car Show at Copper Tree Mall in Oakland. The show was organized and run by the Oakland - Franklin Lakes Rotary Club. The show included approximately 140 show vehicles on display. These cars included a far ranging presentation of vintage, classic, customs, hot rods, imported and exotic cars and trucks. Of those 140 vehicles there were 25 stock, 25 custom, and 9 Best in Class awards.
All the funds generated from the Classic Car Show were donated to Tunnel to Towers and Mission of Honor for the Cremains of NJ Veterans. This year we raised approximately $6,500 through local business and classic car owner donations at the car show. These local businesses included that were tremendously generous were: The Copper Tree Mall, Oakland-Franklin Lakes Rotary, Mike Rose/Academy Services, Oakland Ace Hardware, The Auto Source, Tire Tech, Chopper Russo ReMax, Oakland Physical Therapy, Oakland Bagel, Inking Out Loud, Frank’s Pizzeria, Stop N Shop of Franklin Lakes, and Shop Rite of Oakland. The Car Show also included live music provided by Real Brave Music School of Oakland.
Our Impact
At the conclusion of the show Mission of Honor was presented with $3,800.00 cash, and the balance was forwarded to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation. We want to thank all the local sponsors and car enthusiasts who supported this great event. We are looking forward to seeing you next September 22, 2024 for next Oakland Classic Car Show.
